Yeah, duh, Harriet Miers is gay. The NYTimes yesterday reported than Ms. Miers is on intimate terms with Condilezzie Rice:
For much of the past five years, Ms. Miers, 60, has been a close friend not only of Ms. Veneman but of Condoleezza Rice, the secretary of state. Schedules permitting, the three have met for what people still call girls' nights out in Washington.
Girls night out, indeed:
"There's a lot of girl talk," said a friend of Ms. Miers and Ms. Rice, who asked not to be named because she did not want to be identified discussing the women's personal lives. "It's about life, not business."
Someone should really tell them, because I don't think they got the memo, that today is National Coming Out Day.

hey joanna, i saw bookmarks for your site at terra - cool. so yeah, condi rice is SO gay. three distinct groups of people (people in poli sci, black lesbians, and stanford admin) have told me that condi had a 'thing' with kathleen sullivan, former dean of stanford law. how this has remained a secret, ok an open secret, is beyond me. once i read on a gay gossip site that condi was involved with gwen ifill from pbs who moderated one of the last presidential debates. but seriously, who would date condoleezza rice? no wonder she has to use FOXNews as a dating service. and one time i saw pictures of condi sitting next to angelina jolie at (what else) a UN humanitarian conference thing. it was really scary.
